Quiz night raised a wonderful £800
Great fun was had by all at the quiz night. Thank you to Quiz Master Colin and his team who taxed the competitors with some challenging questions whilst everyone tucked into a Ploughman’s supper.
The evening produced a fantastic profit, for our Malawi project:
- Ticket Sales = £490-00
- Donations = £170-00
- Raffle = £120-00
- Heads & Tails = £ 20-00
- Total = £800-00
A big thank to our Malawi team for providing all the food & to everyone who donated prizes. Donations received from those who could not attend amounted to £170. It demonstrates the huge level of support that the Malawi-Twin receives from a generous parish.
Music Night
17th February 2018
Two of our young parishioners, Joseph and Daniel Stick, together with their friend Harry Whitty, gave us an evening of high quality entertainment. Five instruments were used: drums, guitar, trombone, saxophone and keyboard.
The 80 strong audience thoroughly enjoyed the large selection of easy listening and foot tapping music. Harry sang and he also composed three of the numbers.
We had an interval during which everyone tucked in to Bangers and Mash.
The event raised £1,010, which was all profit because food and raffle prizes were donated.
