Container Project 2021

To combat the spread of the Coronavirus there will be a temporary Suspension of work on our 12th container to Malawi

We are hoping that very soon we shall be able to accept any further donations you may have; again I will send you an update.

The Photo paints a very sad picture of three young children in Malawi, not just in fear of the virus, but their everyday living conditions.
Look at the condition of the clothes they are wearing, in this country we would not find clothes of this condition in any charity shop, they would not even be used as rags.

There is an urgent need for children’s clothes. your help is always appreciated:

  • Lockdown could be a time to sort through any unwanted Children’s & Teenagers’ clothing . We can never have enough.
  • or you may able to make Monetary Donations, which could be used to “buy in” schools items.

The good news is that we are almost 59% packed. To date we have packed 262 cartons, using 350 cubic feet of our allocation of 600 cubic feet, weighing 2719 kg (almost 2 3/4 tons) & there is still lots of items in the warehouse ready to pack & 3 pallets of paper still to arrive.

SALUT team after their first 2020 packing session. They completed 21 boxes
